The Gaia-X lighthouse project presented at key industrial fair
As one of the Gaia-X lighthouse projects of the German Federal Ministry for Economics Affairs and Climate Action, Marispace-X was present at this year's Hannover Messe, the world's most important annual industrial fair. Marispace-X coordinator Jann Wendt presented the four use cases of Marispace-X that leverage upscaled storage, processing and analysis of maritime data at the Gaia-X cube.
Jann Wendt also joined fellow Gaia-X project representatives Dr. Jan Schoenke from Autowerkstadt 4.0, Caroline Lange from COOPERANTS and Dr. Nicolas Flores from Open GPT-X in the panel discussion "Innovative and practical applications and data spaces in the Gaia-X digital ecosystem" at the booth of the Federal Ministry for Economics and Climate action. Together provided an insight into the Gaia-X projects, how they develop solutions, what contribution they make to climate protection and how they improve sustainability in supply chains.
During the fair Marispace-X received a prominent visitor at the Gaia-X Hub Germany Cube: Dirk Schrödter, the Head of the State Chancellery of Schleswig-Holstein took time out of his schedule to update himself on the progress of Marispace-X and exchange ideas for accelerating the growth and digitization of the European Blue Economy with Jann Wendt and Peter Krämer from acatech - the German Academy of Science and Engineering, head of the Gaia-X Hub Germany and the accompanying scientific research
"The Hannover Fair is an excellent opportunity to show where we stand with Gaia-X in Germany and how we can create added value. Practical applications are the focus of our presence at the fair, because this is how the Gaia-X vision will soon become reality."
Peter Krämer
